Tex is Back In Black

The songs and stories of Johnny Cash will come to life on the slopes at Mt Buller on Saturday 25th February, when THE MAN IN BLACK starring the legendary Tex Perkins, heads to the Victorian alpine resort for one very special show with some special guests performing before the main show.

Following an 18 month Australian wide sell-out tour, a triumphant tour of New Zealand and a Helpmann Award for Best Contemporary Concert, THE MAN IN BLACK is back, with Australian rock legend Tex Perkins taking to the stage as Cash for two hours of magnificent music interwoven with the story of his rise to stardom, his fight for survival and his eventual redemption.

Delving into his life, love and loss, Tex along with Rachael Tidd and the band – Shannon Bourne, Dave Folley, Steve Hadley and Shane Reilly – once again perform 24 of Cash’s songs from Ring of Fire, I Walk the Line and Folsom Prison Blues to Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down, Get Rhythm and A Boy Named Sue.
